Sloe Storm (Adnams)
This Pale Ale is brewed with Sloes... quite appropriate for this type of weather. Refreshing but warming too.
Our current favourite...A refreshing straw-coloured beer with soft fruit flavours and a hint of sweetness from the fine malt.
Lancaster Bomber (Thwaites)
True Englishness...A real tasty brown beer... has a gravity that is just enough to be sessionable but at the same time, makes one merry!
Hogshead Bitter (Theakstons)
A rich concentrated Chelsea bun - like sweetness combined with a crisp apply characteristic, giving a surprisingly subtle and refreshing finish.
Ten Fifty (Grainstore)
Apparently the old, original recipe for Ruddles County, the Grainstore guys produce this favourite all year round and my word, it shifts!
Golden XPA (Caledonian)
light to golden in colour, with a medium bitterness beautifully balanced by a biscuit-like sweetness. A most notable silky finish to it too!
